I recorded a viola for a theatre project. I recorded it in a dry room, close mic with a neumann tlm103. Some samples are just noises of the bow on the c or d string, then once in a while creating overtones, other samples contain some processing with echoboy by soundtoys. Amazing plugins they make!. My lights are actually connected into the wall with a switch that i can turn on/off with a seperate controller, and this switch makes this very peculiar sound when it switches on and off. I created this machine gun sound effect quite by accident. I was synthesizing a snare drum in fl_studio using multiple synth layers, effects and automation trying to create a really short and snappy snare and set the loop length really short by mistake and when i hit play to audition my sound i thought it resembled machine gun fire. I tried to originally make the sound of a train speeding up in an 8-bit style, but it sounded more like the sound guardian scouts make in "the legend of zelda: breath of the wild" when they charge up their laser, so i renamed the sound. This is a sound effect for when somebody or something (like a bone being snapped in a fight breaks). When an actor breaks somebody's arm wrist or ankle. It is really good and you can get creative with this. This is no doubt the best sound effect i have ever made. Try it out! all you have to do is give me credit in the credits if you use this sound.
